Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Big Pasture). They were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Geronimo Blue Jays on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Rangers in their matchups with the Blue Jays: they've now won seven in a row.
LAWSON McCULLOUGH was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Big Pasture is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 5-6 otherwise. McCULLOUGH was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.
