Volleyball Game Preview: McClintock Chargers vs. Arizona College Prep Knights

McClintock is on an eight-game streak of home wins, while Arizona College Prep is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Chargers will host the Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Monday, McClintock was able to grind out a solid win over North, taking the game 3-1.

McClintock had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-10, 25-18, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Arizona College Prep earned a 3-1 victory over Notre Dame Prep on Tuesday.

Arizona College Prep was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-11, 16-25, 25-13.

McClintock better focus on containing Cooper Aron and Alexander Lim as the pair were huge in Arizona College Prep's win. Aron had 21 assists and one block, while Lim had three digs and three aces. That's the most aces Lim has posted over his last 11 games.

McClintock is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season. As for Arizona College Prep, their win bumped their record up to 17-7.
