Prairie Heights lost to Churubusco back in September, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Panthers skirted past the Eagles 2-1. The game was the first time the Panthers have beaten the Eagles on their court since October 17, 2020.

Prairie Heights was led to victory by Chloe Kintz and Bailey DeLancey. Kintz had 16 digs and one assist, while DeLancey had 21 assists and two aces. What's more, DeLancey also posted a 75% hitting percentage, which is the highest she's achieved since back in August.

The victory made it two in a row for Prairie Heights and bumps their season record up to 7-21. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 5-20 Fremont and 7-21 Churubusco. As for Churubusco, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-21 record this season.

Prairie Heights will square off against Central Noble at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Churubusco, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Fremont on the 11th.
