Sandy Spring Friends came tearing into Monday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Berman Hebrew Academy Cougars get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wildebeests, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Jacob Edelman was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Darrion Sardo, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Sandy Spring Friends was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Sandy Spring Friends pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games.
