Baseball Recap: Cherokee Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Cherokee's offense. They came up short against the Lomega Raiders on Thursday, falling 15-0. The match marked the first time this season in which the Chiefs were not able to get on the board.

Cherokee dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Lomega, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Cherokee will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Seiling at 4:30 p.m. on March 24th. As for Lomega, they will face off against Leedey at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Lomega is facing Leedey at the right time seeing as Leedey is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
