Baseball Recap: Piedmont Community Charter's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After soaring to 24 runs the game before, Piedmont Community Charter was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They fell 5-1 to the North Hills Christian Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 back in March.

Piedmont Community Charter's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-10. As for North Hills Christian, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-9.

Looking ahead, Piedmont Community Charter will head out on the road to take on Community Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Hills Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ambassador Christian School at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
