Football Recap: West Morgan Rebels vs. Brooks Lions
West Morgan had won six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they bumped up to 2-0 to make it seven. They were the clear victors by a 47-21 margin over the Brooks Lions. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-7.
MacArri Johnson had a dynamite game, rushing for 293 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 14.7 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run. Another player making a difference was Tayshaun McDaniel, who picked up 49 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
