Basketball Recap: Bradley Comes Up Short

Bradley managed to slip by Lafayette County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bears came up short against the Cougars on Thursday, falling 98-72. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (71), the Bears still had to take the loss.

Bradley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-23. As for Lafayette County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lafayette County beat Bradley by a score of 98-72 on Friday.
