Basketball Game Preview: Walnut Hills Eagles vs. Turpin Spartans

The Walnut Hills Eagles and the Turpin Spartans will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Walnut Hills is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Little Miami just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 51-36 bruising from the Panthers.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Turpin). They enjoyed a cozy 61-47 win over Anderson on Friday.

Walnut Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Turpin, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Walnut Hills barely slipped by Turpin in their previous matchup back in February, winning 68-67. Will Walnut Hills repeat their success, or does Turpin have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
