Volleyball Recap: Chaparral Comes Up Short

Chaparral saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell just short of the Yorba Linda Mustangs by a score of 2-1. While the Pumas didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Mustangs 25-20 in the first set.

The 2-1 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Chaparral lost were decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 20-25, 27-25, 15-12.

Chaparral's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Yorba Linda, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Chaparral wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against St. John Bosco on the 21st. As for Yorba Linda, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Calvary Chapel on the 21st.
