Football Recap: Canton Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Canton had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 35-13 to the Gouverneur Wildcats. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Gouverneur has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Canton will challenge rival Franklin Academy on the 26th. Meanwhile, Gouverneur is set to face off against their familiar foe Potsdam at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
