Carter never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Cocke County Fighting Cocks with a sharp 6-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Green Hornets, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Carter's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-7. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.9 runs over those games. As for Cocke County, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.

Coming up, Carter will face off against East Robertson on Wednesday. Cocke County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
