Sadly, the St. Edward Beavers are still looking for their first win of the season after 20 games. They were dealt a 69-9 loss at the hands of Fullerton on Tuesday. St. Edward found out winning isn't easy when you don't work as a unit and post 16 fewer assists than your opponent.

Skyelar Sindelar was St. Edward's leading scorer, having posted three points. Katelyn Werts took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with an assist.

Fullerton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Paige Horn, who scored nine points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. Isabel Norman was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with five rebounds and four steals.

St. Edward dropped their record down to 0-20 with that defeat, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Fullerton, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-11.

St. Edward will head out on the road to square off against Twin River at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Edward comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last 12 games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Fullerton, they will be playing at home against Central City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Central City presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Fullerton in Nebraska (Central City is ranked 81st, while Fullerton is ranked 224th).
