Basketball Game Preview: Schlagle Stallions vs. Atchison Phoenix

The Schlagle Stallions will take on the Atchison Phoenix on Friday. Schlagle has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 14.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Schlagle and Sumner Academy, and Schlagle kept the tradition alive. Schlagle was outmatched by Sumner Academy and fell 67-38.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Atchison, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 44-31 win over Washington on Tuesday.

Schlagle's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Atchison, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-10.

Schlagle was taken down by Atchison 54-24 when the teams last played on February 4th. Can Schlagle avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
