Soccer Game Preview: Westminster Christian Academy vs. Erath

The Westminster Christian Academy Chargers and the Erath Bobcats will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Westminster Christian Academy is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering St. Thomas Aquinas just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Monday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Falcons an easy 5-1 victory. The loss was the Chargers' first of the season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Erath took on Catholic - N.I. on Wednesday. Erath fell just short of Catholic - N.I. by a score of 2-1. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Erath now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Westminster Christian Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1-1.
