Flag Football Recap: Righetti Comes Up Short

Righetti fell victim to Santa Ynez and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 25-0 to the Pirates. Having soared to a lofty 39 points in the game before, the Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Righetti's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Santa Ynez, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Righetti will welcome Pioneer Valley at 7:00 p.m. on the 9th. The Warriors are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Santa Ynez, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-6 victory against Cabrillo on the 7th.
