Basketball Recap: Continental Comes Up Short

Continental was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Leipsic Vikings, falling 63-31. The Pirates lost against the Vikings in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 61-59 score last time.

Continental's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Leipsic, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Continental will head out to take on Ayersville at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Leipsic, they will venture away from home to square off against Swanton at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
