Softball Game Preview: East Orange Campus Jaguars vs. Newark Tech Terries

The East Orange Campus Jaguars will face off against the Newark Tech Terries at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. East Orange Campus has given up an average of 14.5 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

East Orange Campus is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They came up short against West Side, falling 12-2.

Meanwhile, the third road matchup was the charm for Newark Tech, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They walked away with a 13-9 win over Arts on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Terries needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

East Orange Campus' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Newark Tech, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

East Orange Campus took their win against Newark Tech in their previous meeting back in May of 2017 by a conclusive 31-11 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
