            While Prairie View put up some  runs on Friday, the same  can't be said for Brighton. The Thunderhawks walked away with  a   5-0  victory over the Bulldogs. The Thunderhawks have beaten the Bulldogs the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bulldogs has come to flipping the script.
 Favi Gaeta made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in ten consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with one  home run.
 In other batting news,  Giovanni Tarin was  excellent,  going 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases and two  RBI. He has been hot recently, having  posted two or more  stolen bases the last four times he's  played.
 Prairie View  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters  in four consecutive  matchups.
