Basketball Recap: Dyer County Takes a Loss

Dyer County was the 63-42 winner over Gibson County when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Choctaws took a 66-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pioneers on Friday. The matchup marked the Choctaws' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Dyer County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Gibson County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Coming up, Dyer County will be playing at home against Caruthersville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gibson County, they will head out to face off against Dresden at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
