Verdugo Hills entered their tilt with North Hollywood on Monday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Huskies. That's two games straight that the Dons have won by exactly three runs.

Miguel Wong was incredible, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Cutlor Gouger-Fannon also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Verdugo Hills pushed their record up to 6-11 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for North Hollywood, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Verdugo Hills will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Huskies: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
