Volleyball Recap: Bella Frates' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Calvary Lutheran over Centralia

It was a proper cat-fight when Calvary Lutheran took on Centralia on Saturday. The Lions fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bella Frates, who had four digs and two aces.

Calvary Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 14-9-2. As for Centralia, their win bumped their record up to 11-17-2.

Looking ahead, Calvary Lutheran will challenge Christian Fellowship at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Centralia, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against California on the 20th.
