Softball Recap: Lyndhurst Takes a Loss

Lyndhurst and Governor Livingston squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Lyndhurst had to settle for second. They lost 12-0 to the Highlanders. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Golden Bears' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Lyndhurst has also been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 17 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Governor Livingston, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-7.

Lyndhurst does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Governor Livingston has already played their next game (against West Morris Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
