Lincoln entered their tilt with Crawford on Thursday with ten consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 11. They came out on top against the Colts by a score of 10-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-2 on Tuesday.

Aladar Herrera spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up eight Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Sebastian Sosa, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic Mendoza, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Lincoln always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Crawford only posted an OBP of .355.

Lincoln pushed their record up to 18-7 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Crawford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-13.

Lincoln and Crawford are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Hornets will host Mountain Empire at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crawford, they will take on Castle Park at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Colts are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
