Basketball Game Preview: Metropolitan Learning Center Dragons vs. Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens

Metropolitan Learning Center is 0-10 against Academy of Science and Innovation since January of 2020 but things could change on Thursday. The Metropolitan Learning Center Dragons will welcome the Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens at 7:00 p.m.

Metropolitan Learning Center came up short against Weaver on Monday, falling 66-46.

Meanwhile, Academy of Science and Innovation had already won 15 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.9 points) and they went ahead and made it 16 on Monday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 66-37 victory over the Owls. The Ravens have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 22 points or more this season.

Academy of Science and Innovation pushed their record up to 17-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Metropolitan Learning Center, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Metropolitan Learning Center was dealt a bruising 80-36 defeat at the hands of Academy of Science and Innovation in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Metropolitan Learning Center was down 35-14.
