Shekinah Christian extended their winning streak to six on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 10-3 in the process. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Liberty Christian Academy Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-0 back in March.

Max Kilzer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on one hit and racked up 12 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Camden Miller was excellent, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

As for Liberty Christian Academy, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-6. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

On Liberty Christian Academy's side, they also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and he was also dialed-in: Mason Kamppi gave up just two earned runs on nine hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, Liberty Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Dyer, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Shekinah Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 4-0 loss against Granville Christian Academy on the 15th. As for Liberty Christian Academy, they will square off against Delaware Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
