Volleyball Recap: Northridge Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Northridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Berthoud Spartans, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-19, 25-19.

Elsa Van Buskirk paced Northridge's offense, picking up ten kills. Van Buskirk got some help from Dalanie Jones and her 20 assists.

Northridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Berthoud, they pushed their record up to 20-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Northridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Liberty Common on the 24th. As for Berthoud, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Greeley Central on the 28th.
