Soccer Recap: Henley Gets the Win

Henley kept a clean sheet against Klamath Union on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Pelicans 1-0. Henley were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on Klamath Union, so Henley were just returning the favor.

Henley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-0-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those six matches. As for Klamath Union, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1-1 and their overall record down to 5-3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Henley will host Phoenix at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Henley are facing Phoenix at the right time seeing as Phoenix are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Klamath Union, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Hidden Valley at 6:30 p.m.
