Softball Recap: Wabaunsee Comes Up Short

Wabaunsee lost against Onaga on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Chargers lost 12-5 to the Buffaloes. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wabaunsee's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Onaga, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wabaunsee will challenge Lyndon at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.2 runs per game on average), something the Chargers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Onaga, they will square off against Oskaloosa at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Buffaloes' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bears have averaged an impressive 12.2 runs per game this season.
