Volleyball Recap: King William Now 9-3 over Last 12 Games

There's no place like home for King William, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They blew past the King & Queen Central Royal Tigers 3-0 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant King William was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-9, 25-9.

King William's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Noel Sluder led the charge by getting five aces. Those five aces gave Sluder a new career-high.

Sluder wasn't the only good servers: King William was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 20 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in four consecutive contests.

King William is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for King & Queen Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
