St. Catherine's wins going away against Indian Trail

Recap: St. Catherine's Angels vs. Indian Trail Hawks

The St. Catherine's Angels scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They put the hurt on Indian Trail with a sharp 77-55 win. The win was some much needed relief for St. Catherine's as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Despite the loss, Indian Trail still got an impressive performance from Mj Stackhouse, who scored 25 points. The game was Stackhouse's tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of LaVaruz Currie, who scored ten points.

St. Catherine's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Indian Trail, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.

St. Catherine's will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Two Rivers at 4:00 p.m. on January 13th. As for Indian Trail, they will head out on the road to face off against Kenosha Bradford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kenosha Bradford will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings (they are ranked 407th, while Indian Trail is ranked 191st).
