Basketball Recap: Mullins Marion Christian Takes a Loss

If Mullins Marion Christian was riding high fresh off their 45-17 takedown of Varsity Opponent last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mullins Marion Christian Cavaliers were beaten by the Maranatha Christian Bulldogs 54-27 on Monday. The Cavaliers haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Mullins Marion Christian now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Maranatha Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Mullins Marion Christian will head out to face off against Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Maranatha Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
