Baseball Recap: McComb Tigers vs. Lawrence County Cougars

McComb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lawrence County Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, with their most recent loss being a 20-1 defeat last Tuesday.

Jaylen Lewis was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, four RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenmar Page, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
