Volleyball Recap: Shawnee Mission West Takes a Loss

Shawnee Mission West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Olathe North Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat last Saturday.

Shawnee Mission West's loss dropped their record down to 3-13-2. As for Olathe North, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Shawnee Mission West has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Mill Valley on the 4th. As for Olathe North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against St. James Academy on the 4th.
