Basketball Recap: Appleton East Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Appleton East was the 68-58 winner over Bay Port when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Appleton East Patriots fell 63-51 to the Bay Port Pirates on Saturday. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Appleton East's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2. As for Bay Port, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

Appleton East and Oshkosh North will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oshkosh North knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Appleton East likes a good challenge. As for Bay Port, they are taking a road trip to face off against Green Bay Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
