Soccer Recap: Community School of Davidson Takes a Loss

Community School of Davidson was the 2-1 winner over Pine Lake Prep when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans fell just short of the Pride by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday. Noah Slack was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Community School of Davidson hit Pine Lake Prep with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Slack, Liam Carneiro, and Davin Laquerre.

Community School of Davidson's loss dropped their record down to 6-4-1. As for Pine Lake Prep, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3-1.

Coming up, Community School of Davidson will take on Lake Norman Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lake Norman Charter's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Pine Lake Prep, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Christ the King at 7:15 p.m.
