Football Recap: Southern Takes a Loss

Southern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Danville Admirals 42-7.

Southern's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Danville, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Southern is taking a road trip to square off against Male at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Trojans their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Danville, they will host W.E.B. DuBois Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
