Football Recap: Chippewa Falls Has No Trouble Against D.C. Everest

Chippewa Falls won against Superior last Friday with 35 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Cardinals put the hurt on the D.C. Everest Evergreens with a sharp 35-14 win. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, D.C. Everest still got an impressive performance from Corbin Enzenroth, who rushed for 156 yards and one TD. Enzenroth's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 133 rushing yards.

The victory made it two in a row for Chippewa Falls and bumps their season record up to 3-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 14 points in those games. As for D.C. Everest, they moved to 4-3 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coming up, Chippewa Falls will face off against Hudson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for D.C. Everest, they will challenge Stevens Point at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
