The team relied heavily on Ava Winkowski, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoe Strand, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with four stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

California Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Temecula Prep, their win bumped their record up to 6-16.

Monday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. California Lutheran has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .493. However, it's not like Temecula Prep struggles in that department as they've averaged .520. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

California Lutheran might still be hurting after the 9-2 defeat they got from Temecula Prep in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the C-Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
