Elyria Catholic strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals 10-1. Considering the Panthers have won seven matches by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Kailey Tomasch spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 12 Ks.

At the plate, Nadia Pagan was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jessica Conner, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Elyria Catholic pushed their record up to 13-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.
