Volleyball Game Preview: Warner Monarchs vs. Chester Flyers

The Warner Monarchs will face off against the Chester Flyers at 6:45 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Warner comes in on eight and Chester on 14.

Warner is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Northwestern Area 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Monarchs have posted since November 21, 2024.

Warner's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tatum Hanson led the charge by getting 29 assists and 13 digs. Those 29 assists gave Hanson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Keira Steger, who had 25 digs and one assist.

Meanwhile, Chester made easy work of Bennett County on Friday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Warner's record is now 34-6. As for Chester, their record now sits at 32-1.
