Baseball Game Preview: Fair Lawn Cutters vs. Wayne Valley Indians

The Fair Lawn Cutters will venture away from home to take on the Wayne Valley Indians at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Fair Lawn has given up an average of 8.5 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fort Lee hit Fair Lawn with a seven-run sixth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Cutters lost 11-1 to the Bridgemen.

Meanwhile, Wayne Valley came up short against St. Joseph Regional on Friday, falling 11-2. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fair Lawn's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Wayne Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Fair Lawn beat Wayne Valley 3-0 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cutters since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
