Madison strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took down the New Utrecht Utes 28-12. That's more bragging rights for the Golden Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Madison's record now sits at 3-0. As for New Utrecht, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, after each having a week off, Madison and Lane will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on October 10. As for New Utrecht, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Truman at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. The Utes will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 25.75 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
