Basketball Game Preview: Riverside Bulldogs vs. Sidney Cowboys

The Riverside Bulldogs will venture away from home to challenge the Sidney Cowboys on Monday. Riverside will be strutting in after a win while Sidney will be coming in after a loss.

Last Thursday, Riverside escaped with a win against Shenandoah by the margin of a single free throw, 54-53. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Sidney fought the good fight in their overtime contest against East Mills on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to East Mills 61-57.

Riverside's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Sidney, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-9.

Riverside was able to grind out a solid victory over Sidney in their previous meeting back in January, winning 65-54. Will Riverside repeat their success, or does Sidney have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
