It was a good run, but Oldenburg Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greensburg Pirates. If the Twisters were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Pirates when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rachel Suttmann paced Oldenburg Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Suttmann got some help from Campbell Miles and her eight assists.

Among those leading the charge was Kirkley Lowe, who had six digs and six assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last six contests.

Oldenburg Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Greensburg, the victory was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-1.

Looking ahead, Oldenburg Academy will venture away from home to take on North Decatur at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Greensburg, they will welcome Trinity Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
