After only two runs in their last contest, Maranatha made sure to put some runs up on the board against Hart on Tuesday. The Maranatha Minutemen were the clear victor by a 13-3 margin over the Hart Hawks. The Minutemen's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Zach Strickland made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Josh Proctor, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevor Rivas, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Maranatha's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3-1. As for Hart, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Maranatha will head out on the road to face off against Brea Olinda at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hart, they will host Agoura at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hart is facing Agoura at the right time seeing as Agoura is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
