Softball Recap: Musselman Comes Up Short

Musselman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Spring Mills Cardinals. The Applemen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Musselman saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Allison Hoffman, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Hoffman brought in this season.

Musselman's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Spring Mills, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Musselman will welcome Martinsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Spring Mills, they are taking a road trip to take on Fort Hill at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
