Football Recap: Alliance Aviators vs. Canton Central Catholic Crusaders
After flying high against Ellet last Friday, Alliance came back down to earth. The Alliance Aviators took a 27-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Canton Central Catholic Crusaders on Friday. The game was a 14-14 toss-up at halftime, but the Aviators couldn't quite close it out.
Although Alliance took the loss, they still got scores from Jarrin Blair and Brady White.
Alliance's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Canton Central Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alliance will head out to challenge Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Salem will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last. As for Canton Central Catholic, they are taking a road trip to face off against Louisville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
