Volleyball Recap: Liberty Christian Academy Takes a Loss

If Liberty Christian Academy was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Millersport on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles fell just short of the West Muskingum Tornadoes by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Liberty Christian Academy sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-8, 17-25, 25-20.

Liberty Christian Academy dropped their record down to 1-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for West Muskingum, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coincidentally, Liberty Christian Academy and West Muskingum will both be playing Northridge the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Vikings at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Tornadoes will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
