It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but The Santa Monica Vikings ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They managed a 33-27 victory over Santa Ana. The win was a breath of fresh air for Santa Monica as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Santa Monica's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caden Mccallum, who rushed for 135 yards and three touchdowns. Mccallum was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 59 yards. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Brown, who rushed for 23 yards and two touchdowns.
Santa Monica's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Santa Ana, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.
